Join us for a fun week of patchwork and quilting with like-minded individuals, in the secluded tranquil setting of Mas Cagnet, Salazac, France.

The Course: "UFO'S"
How many unfinished quilts do you have in your cupboard? How many kits in your cupboard waiting to be started? Is your excuse lack of time? Then this is the course for you. You may bring along as many projects as you like and if you are a beginner we can plan ahead of time what you might do. A whole week uninterrupted to just quilt – sounds bliss doesn't it. You will receive individual tuition on your particular project and kick start your quilt no matter what the mental block is. Add the camaraderie of soulmates, plus the inspiration of seeing other peoples work, excellent food, sun, great location. The result - Heaven!

The Course: "The Disappearing Nine Patch"
This is a fantastic technique for producing a quilt which can be made quite quickly but looks more complicated than it is. The starting point for this quilt was a fantastic large print which is used for the border.The centre of the quilt is made up from co-ordinating prints and one highlight fabric. (You need to start collecting your fabrics well in advance). If this looks too simple then I have 9 alternative patch designs which may prove more of a challenge. The decision is yours. Whatever you decide you will be going home with a completed quilt top ready to quilt.

The Tutor: Krys Evans
Krys needs very little introduction to many of you. After 12 years Krys has recently sold her successful Patchwork and Quilting business in London, and plans to spend more time teaching. She has many years experience teaching textiles and has often been described as an "enthusiastic and inspirational teacher".

Location: Mas Cagnet
Mas Cagnet is a 7-bedroom house set in a tranquil forested environment, complete with pool and terraces to relax after a busy day in the studio.

Cost
Includes 6 day (7 nights) residential course, all meals except the last evening when we will visit a local restaurant and lunch on our day out. There will be a day off midweek to visit the local market and town.

£800.00 - double room with ensuite and balcony
£750.00 - double room own shower room next door
£750.00 - single occupancy twin room own shower room
£700.00 - share twin room own shower room

Non quilting partner can come as well for a price of £450 providing they are sharing your room.
A £275 deposit is required with your application. This is a non-refundable deposit. You are advise to take out appropriate travel insurance in the event you cannot travel and to cover any medical emergencies. The balance of the cost of your holiday is due a month before the course starts.Your deposit WILL be returned in full if the course does not meet its full quota.
